What would be your perfect day? How would you spend it? Who would you be with?

I have snippits of the 'perfect day' thru my week. I'd like to merge them all together to make one glorious day, but maybe then the days would be less bearable?

The perfect day for me with my Mom would be a day of shopping. Finding great deals, amazing treasures and having lunch at a cozy Thai resturant or maybe at Red Robin.

The perfect day for me with my Husband would be different. It would be spent driving through the country or the woods along a river, stopping at a quaint B&B and having a yummy dinner with wait staff that helped make it all an enjoyable meal. Then we would go to our room, maybe read or talk over dreams and vision for our family and we would end the day lost in each other's arms and enjoying our marriage in the most literal sense. Marvelous!

A perfect day with my Dad would be him picking me up to go Christmas shopping for my Mom, we finish early, so we grab a bite to eat and see a movie. One year, he brought me to a craft store to buy me a church for my Christmas village! Love that!

A perfect day with my best girlfriend would probably include a bit of shopping, some lunch, or maybe just a day at my home, watching our children play and talking over secret matters!

A perfect day at Church would be one where I am able to help someone in need, not knowing ahead of time what that need was. I like being open to seeing what someone is lacking and then filling the lack.

A perfect day with my kids is sitting in our living room, reading and recounting all we have read together. I would end this day snuggled up in my bed or on my couch, watching some sweet movie and eatting popcorn.

Well....I think I have worked out my bugs....for me a perfect day would have to include a pardon from this prison fat suit....so that I could do all the things I love without dieing or worrying what others are thinking...but it would be out away from the city..someplace warm...where I could swim, ride hosrses and motorcycles...hike...take a long walk and see no human trapings anywhere.....and my closest friends would be there...you know the ones you can be silly and stupid with.....

I think I'd like to have a big party where I could mingle and have fun but more importantly - I would tell each person what they meant to me, and how they'd changed my life. I'd want to have a short, concise one-on-one with them and introduce them all to each other - exposing what attracted me to each of them.

It would be wonderful to be surrounded by kind faces of those who love me and see - all at once - a visual of the community of friends I've been blessed with. We're so often segregated by life - and its a shame this party usually only takes place at a funeral.
