From the kids... what ever they buy or make is the best. I LOVE getting things from my kids!

from a friend something personal that celebrates our relationship like a little memento or a "here to celebrate yourself" type of gift-
From my hunny- hand written notes- love love love them-
From my mom- anything she thinks about giving me.
From my kids- good conversations and time with each of them.

I am not a big "gift" type of person. My favorite things are time spent with people I love. Perhaps a coupon book full of coffee dates or dinner dates would be cool from my hunny. Maybe a coupon book full of babysitting offers from a friend would be nice. Aside from all that mushy stuff
I love clothes, music, and books!

I cant pick just one.....I feel lucky to get a gift from anyone...I think it comes from having a scrooge father who didnt like giving gifts.....so when my mom could sneak them in...no matter how small they were always a rare and wonderful treat.

After 36 years I still love gifts from my mom. They are always what I need or really want. They Bless me.

Wow, your dad didn't like exchanging gifts, huh? I'm sorry. That's a bummer!

If I had unlimited resources, I think I'd be a constant giver because my favorite 'gift' is the joy of providing a special something to a friend.

If it is something she needs yet can't come up with the cash for, I like to hide it somewhere - the ensuing joy and happiness that comes from the unexpecting blessing is truly the coolest thing ever. Especially when you can do it in secret.
